Set in a 532 acre estate Finca Cortesin opened in 2009, when it hosted the Volvo World Matchplay Championship. It was the first time the event was held in Spain and included renowned players such as Rory McLlroy, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood, Martin Kaymer and Sergio Garcia.

Situated a mile back from the sea outside the small coastal settlement of Casares and close to the fashionable Sotogrande. The 5 star hotel and Golf club is 25 minutes from Gibraltar and 50 minutes from Malaga.

Finca Cortesin was designed by the world leading golf course architect Cabell Robinson. It was designed to incorporate the areas original flora and fauna and is reputed to having the best greens in Spain. At nearly 7500 yards it is also one of the longest golf courses in Europe.
